ACTNews, TANGERANG REGENCY – In the second week of September, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) continues its Free Food Operation in various regions which targets underprivileged residents as the recipients. Supported by MRI volunteers and a humanitarian vehicle, the action is expected to reach more beneficiaries.
This September, one of the distribution locations was Tangerang Regency. With help from Humanity Rice Truck, residents in Sukamulya Village, Cikupa, received the best rice from local farmers assisted by Global Wakaf-ACT. The distribution was carried out by strictly adhering to the health protocols.
“Free Food Operation is ACT’s effort to overcome the pandemic which affects the people’s economy and ability to meet their food needs,” explained Yayat Supriatna, Branch Manager of ACT Tangerang Regency.
Free Food Operation in Tangerang Regency is an action carried out by the new ACT branch, Tangerang Regency. The new branch office in Jalan Pemda Tigakarsa, Sukamulya, Cikupa, is expected to expand and strengthen the humanitarian actions and care to others.
“Thank you ACT for assisting the residents and easing their burdens. The new ACT office in SUkamulya is hoped to attract more people to help each other,” said Azis, Secretary of Sukamulya Village.
