ACTNews, EAST FLORES – The expressions of happiness radiated on the faces of the beneficiaries of Qurbani meat in East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The joy was seen when Global Qurban-ACT distributed 100 Qurbani cows from Indonesian Muslims at Eid ul-Adha 2021.
Salinah Yasin, a resident of Horinara Village, reveals the residents rarely slaughter Qurbani cows during Eid ul-Adha. Usually, they only slaughter goats from donations of residents.

“We rarely eat beef here. We can eat beef only at Eid ul-Adha. Moreover, we are in a remote area” said Salinah when she received the Qurbani meat distributed by Global Qurban-ACT and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation on Tuesday (7/20/2021).
Mukhti, Global Qurban-ACT President, reveals East Nusa Tenggara is one of the targets for qurbani animals distribution. "The Indonesian Central Statistics Agency ranks East Nusa Tenggara the 5th Province in Indonesia with the highest number of poverty. Insha Allah, Global Qurban-ACT tries to help our brothers and sisters there," said Mukhti.
Therefore, Mukhti also expressed his gratitude for the support of the Indonesians in this year's Eid. “Alhamdulillah, our brothers and sisters in East Flores can enjoy the best Qurbani meat thanks to the Indonesian benefactors. We are grateful to be able to distribute 100 Qurbani cows to them,” said Mukhti. []
