ACTNews, AMBON – During Ramadan, Aksi Cepat Tanggap has continued spreading kindness to the community, especially in the moment of iftar. This action is not carried out by ACT alone but also supported by various parties and benefactors. In Ambon, in collaboration with motorcycle communities, ACT delivered iftar snacks to people, Sunday (5/2/2021).

Located in Sirimau District, three motorcycle communities took part in this act of kindness. The Honda Beat Maluku Club (HBMC), the All Matic Ambon Club (AMAC), and the Fino Owners Indonesia (FOI) distributed up to hundreds of iftar snacks.

“On behalf of my friends in the motorcycle communities, I thank ACT for the collaboration. Hopefully, this good activity will not end, and in the future, there will be another kindness program,” said Nuvan, Chairman of FOI.

This joint action by the motorcycle communities in Ambon was not the first. Previously, in collaboration with ACT, they raised funds for disaster victims. From here, trusting ACT for delivering their mandate, they decided to hold another program with ACT.

The Branch Manager of ACT Maluku Wahab Loilatu said the distribution of iftar snacks was a form of care for others during Ramadan in the second year of the Covid-19 pandemic. ACT continues to look forward to giving support from generous people to the people in need.

“Various elements of the community enjoyed these snacks, from casual workers, students to passersby. This action will continue to expand because Ramadan is not over yet. There is still a chance for us to reap goodness," said Wahab.

During Ramadan, the distribution of snacks, iftar, and suhoor meals is a regular activity held by ACT Maluku with volunteers from Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia and generous people. The main target beneficiaries were casual workers and underprivileged people. This action will continue until the end of Ramadan.
