REGENCY – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) is consistently working to support daily
workers through various humanitarian programs, one of which is the Free Meal
Operation. ACT's Humanity Food Truck prepared 300 meal packages for daily
workers in Bogor Regency, West Java, Monday (8/16/2021).
Right at lunch
time, under the Cileungsi Flyover on Jalan Alternatif Cibubur ACT distributed the
meals to scavengers, street peddlers, and public transportation drivers who
find it very difficult to meet their food needs.
“This meal
distribution is expected to be beneficial to help daily workers struggling to
make a living during Community Activity Restrictions,” said ACT Humanity Food
Truck Coordinator Ryan Andriana Rachman.
Ryan says the Free Meal Operation is a regular program that greatly benefits the needy during the COVID-19 pandemic. "This program exists and cannot be separated from the support of all generous donors," added Ryan.[]
