
ACTNews, TANGERANG CITY – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) continues to distribute iftar packages to the poor and orphans this Ramadan. On Sunday (4/17/2022), iftar packages were given away to the poor and orphans at the Al Umm Islamic Boarding School, Tangerang City.
In collaboration with the Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia volunteers and the Jumat Sedekah Indonesia (JSI) community, fifty iftar packages were distributed to the students. The iftar distribution was able to be done thanks to the support from Kitabisa.com crowdfunding platform.
The poor students, orphans, and students who memorize the Quran are very happy to welcome the team who came with free iftar packages. In addition, the team also distributed stationery.
Hasanuddin, the principal and caretaker of the Al-Umm Islamic Boarding School expressed his thankfulness for the arrival of the team. "Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful to the brothers and donors who have provided assistance. May it be a blessing for us all,” he said.
Galang from the ACT Tangerang Branch revealed that iftar distribution, especially for orphans and the underprivileged, will continue to be carried out. “In order for the distribution to continue, we need support from all of you. Insha Allah, we will continue to optimize this Ramadan to help the underprivileged," said Galang. []
