Impoverished and Self-Isolating People in Bandung Can Taste Qurbani Meat

Global Qurban-ACT, supported by MRI Volunteers and Regional Board of Community Empowerment Institutions (DPD LPM), distributed the best Qurbani meat to impoverished and self-isolating people.

ACTNews, BANDUNG – Amid a pandemic and implementation of the Java-Bali Emergency Public Activity Restriction Enforcement (PPKM), Global Qurban-ACT has not stopped providing the best for the community. With the spirit of Qurbani Without Limit, Global Qurban-ACT distributed Qurbani animals throughout Indonesia, including Bandung, West Java, from Eid ul-Adha to Tashreeq days.

In Bandung, slaughtering Qurbani animals from Global Qurban-ACT was carried out at the Cirangrang Animal Slaughterhouse, Bandung City, and at the residents’ area, which was carried out in cooperation by implementing health protocols.

“Global Qurban-ACT and Regional Board of Community Empowerment Institutions (DPD LPM) Bandung City distribute Qurbani meat packages to 30 sub-districts in the city of Bandung. Impoverished and self-isolating people received the best Qurbani meat assisted by Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia volunteers," explained Trisna Adi Permana, Head of Global Qurban-ACT Bandung, Wednesday (7/21/2021).

Merdi Hajiji, the Chairman of DPD LPM Bandung City, welcomed the collaboration with Global Qurban-ACT. This action had broken through various boundaries amid the pandemic through meat distribution in many areas in Bandung.

"Hopefully, this collaboration will bring happiness to the community," he said.

The slaughtered Qurbani animals in the Bandung area were from Generous Friends through Global Qurban-ACT.[]
