ACTNews, JAKARTA – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) strengthens the Ramadan Care Line program with 24-hour service on the last ten days of this Ramadan. The Ramadhan Care Line will continue to be carried out massively to meet the food needs of the underprivileged.
The coordinator of the Ramadan Care Line, Pungki Martha Kusuma said, in the first three days of Ramadan Care Line with 24-hour service, the incoming calls had significantly increased compared to the previous days. Usually, the maximum numbers of incoming calls were only a thousand calls per day. However, in the last three days, 8.766 calls have been received.
"The calls received have increased rapidly, the sound of the telephone rings continues to be heard in the room of our friend who is in charge of picking up the phone," said Pungki, Thursday (5/6/2021).
Apart from the potential beneficiaries, the call also came from relatives, neighbors of potential beneficiaries, to Heads of RT who want to help residents who need food assistance.
Pungki said in the first three days, the Ramadhan Care Line with 24-hour service had provided up to 23,358 kg of rice to 7,786 families. So a total of 38,930 people have benefited from this service.
He explained that apart from having an impact on the beneficiaries, the Ramadhan Care Line was also creating jobs, especially positions for sending aid to beneficiaries. "Currently, there are 357 additional workers involved," he said.
Pungki invited the public to intensify this program until Eid ul-Fitr. For people who want to use this service, they can call 0800-1-165-228 and complete the administrative requirements in the form of ID cards and family cards.
"The callers do not need to worry about the requested data. We will only use ID and Family Cards for data verification. There will be no abuse with the data," concluded Pungki.
