ACTNews, MAGELANG REGENCY – Global Wakaf-ACT have finally visited the house of Indah Nurmalasari (34) in Wringinputih Hamlet, Kanggan Village, Borobudur District, Magelang Regency. On Monday (9/20/2021) Indah was spending her resting time at home after giving birth to her third child a while ago.
If Indah doesn’t take a temporary break, she runs a seaweed ice business that has going for five years as additional income to help her husband who works as a hotel staff in the Borobudur tourist area.
However, the pandemic has dampened the tourism sector. “During this pandemic, my husband’s income has been decreased. Therefore, we can only rely on our seaweed business income,” said Indah.
Indah hoped that after her maternity break, she can continue her business again after a long break. “Hopefully, there is additional capital to continue my seaweed ice business again after my maternity break,” said Indah.
Her hope then came true as Global Wakaf-ACT provided business capital assistance and accompaniment through Waqf for MSMEs program. Indah plans to purchase more ingredients of her seaweed ice to revive and develop her business.[]
