ACTNews, GAZA – Despite waiting for incoming requests from patients, Indonesian ambulances from benefactors continue to travel around Gaza, visiting the patients’ houses to provide free treatment to the residents who are sick.
The patients mostly require injury treatment, and serious illnesses such as sepsis, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, RTA, and fractures.
“We even treat people exposed by the Covid-19. We strictly follow the health protocol to keep our healthcare workers from the virus exposure,” said Firdaus Guritno from ACT’s Global Humanity Response, Wednesday (9/8/2021).
Firdaus explains that medical treatments provided by Indonesian ambulances are free of charge. In addition, they also provide free medicines for the patients.
The Gazans are very thankful for the medical treatments they received from Indonesian ambulances. They admitted that it was rare for a medical team to come directly to their house. Usually, if they get sick, then they have to go to the hospital themselves and pay a lot of money for the treatments and medicines.
