ACTNews, JERUSALEM – The Israeli forces shot tear gas and stun grenades at the Palestinians in Silwan, a historical area near Al Aqsa Mosque, Friday (5/14/2021). Civilians were hit by stun grenades and tear gas shot from a distance of 10 meters.

The flare of fires with billowed black smoke has been seen on the road of Silwan. People were running around to avoid tear gas shot by the Israeli forces.

Attacks also happened in other locations such as Nablus and Jaffa. Israel used bullets to repress the Palestinians in Al Luban Village near Nablus City and attacked civilian houses in Jaffa around the Al Ajami area with Molotov cocktails, wounding several local children.

The ACT’s Global Humanity Response reported five fatalities in the West Bank including Muhammad Ruhi Hammad from Ramallah, Sharif Khalid Salman and Awad Harb from Safit, Youssef Al-Nawasrah from Jenin, and Nidal Sayel Al-Safadi from Nablus.

“The Israeli forces not only launch airstrikes in Gaza but also to the Palestinians in Jerusalem. They oppress and target civilians anywhere,” said Andi Noor Faradiba from the ACT’s GHR team.[]
