ACTNews, BOGOR – Until the last ten days of Ramadan, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) has continued to promote Ramadan Food Alms Movement which brings benefits to underprivileged people. This kindness movement is supported by many parties and generous people including JNE. JNE is a delivery service company that has supported ACT's food alms programs by delivering hundreds of kilograms of Waqf Rice for the residents of Bogor.

On Wednesday (5/5/2021), the distribution was carried out in Cimandala Village, Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency. The underprivileged people were the main targets of the Waqf Rice distribution. This movement of kindness was met with a warm welcome and appreciation from the local residents and government.

"Thank you for helping the locals. We are very happy. Moreover, this is not the first time. Previously Global Wakaf-ACT gave cart waqf to residents here,” said Makmun Nawawi, Head of Sukaraja District.

This rice was first delivered to the district office before being handed over to the residents. The volunteers of Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia were also involved in the rice distribution so that there wouldn't be any crowd. "This assistance was sent from JNE through ACT. It's also a reflection of our motto: connecting happiness, as well as to support, love, and care," explained Fahmi, a JNE representative. []
