ACTNews, MAKSSAR – In an effort to assist the community in the midst of the pandemic, PT Daesang Agung Indonesia (Mamasuka) handed over assistance in the form of food products through Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT). This generosity also extends to various parts of the country. On Thursday (12/17/2021), these food products were distributed to residents in South Sulawesi.

The distribution took place in Savana Hamlet, a scavenger settlement located in Bangkala Village, Manggala District, Makassar City. A total of 515 residents benefitted from this distribution.

Firman from the South Sulawesi ACT Program Department said that the majority of residents in Savana Hamlet are scavengers with uncertain incomes. The assistance of these food products was warmly welcomed by the residents.

“Their economic conditions were already uncertain before the pandemic. Hopefully, this assistance will ease the burden on the local residents,” said Firman.

Apart from Kampung Savana, Mamasuka products were also distributed to several other points in Makassar, including in Pandang Hamlet, Panakkukang, Makassar City and Pondok Tahfidzul Fathul Mubaraq in Sinjai Regency.[]
