Maximizing the Benefit of Humanity Care Line in the Blessed Month

Since it was launched in May 2020, Humanity Care Line has served one and half million underprivileged people in Jabodetabek. This initiative is planned to be more massive to make underprivileged people happy in Ramadan.

ACTNews, JAKARTA – Aksi Cepat Tanggap launched free food delivery in the form of Humanity Care Line on April 17, 2020. This program then received attention from DKI Jakarta Provincial Government when it was inaugurated by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan on May 2, 2020.

“Since the beginning of the pandemic, this program has been going thanks to the contributions of benefactors. Since the program was launched, there are one and a half million beneficiaries of this program. There are an estimated number of around a thousand beneficiaries a day,” said Adiwi Caksono as the Person in Charge of Humanity Care Line on Tuesday (3/30/2021).

Approaching Ramadan,  Humanity Care Line is preparing to spread happiness once more. Humanity Care Line service is expected to be even more massive in the blessed month. ”Inshaallah, in Ramadan this Humanity Care Line will be transformed into a Ramadan Care Line and will be ready to serve 500 thousand packages for one month, or equal to 2.5 million beneficiaries,” said Adiwi.

Not only that, the operating hours of Humanity Care Line will also be prolonged in Ramadan. “Before Ramadan, we operate from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. In Ramadan, Humanity Care Line will operate until 11 p.m. to ensure the needs of underprivileged people are still fulfilled in Ramadan,” explained Adiwi.

Adiwi added that there was no change in the procedure of contacting Ramadan Care Line. People only need to call 0800-116-5228. Ramadan Care Line operators would verify the data on callers and beneficiaries.  If it matches, the assistance would be sent to the beneficiaries by Humanity Bikers according to the distribution location schedule.

Adiwi invited benefactors to collaborate in strengthening Ramadan Care Line. “In the future, we hope that Humanity Care Line and Ramadan Care Line can be a solution to the food crisis in Jabodetabek and Indonesia in general. Also, it can be implemented nationally,” hoped Adiwi.
