ACTNews, SOUTH BANGKA – Teachers at the Tahfidz Guntur Pakalen Batu Islamic Boarding School, South Bangka, still use a motor that has started to break down. This old motorbike always supports the teachers to take care of the administration and daily needs of students to the center of Payung District that takes about 30 minutes.
Knowing the conditions, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) tried to help by donating three motorbikes. Teachers will use these vehicles to manage various needs of the school located in remote parts of South Bangka.
“Hopefully, these new vehicles can add the preaching spirit of teachers in Tahfidz Guntur Pakalen Batu Islamic Boarding School,” hoped Raffles from ACT Bangka Program team.
Teachers in Tahfidz Guntur Pakalen Batu Islamic Boarding School directly received the assistance. Students also happily welcomed this assistance.
“Alhamdulillah, we are happy to receive motorbike assistance. Insha Allah, these vehicles will be used by teachers in managing various needs of the school and for residents who need it to be more useful," said Ahmadi Sofyan, a teacher of Tahfidz Pakalen Batu Islamic Boarding School.
Tahfidz Pakalen Batu Islamic Boarding School is one of the educational centers in Raggung Village, Payung District. The establishment of this pesantren in remote parts of South Bangka will be a hope for the development of Islam for residents.
