ACTNews, MOJOKERTO – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) and Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) Mojokerto held the second orientstion training for volunteers at the branch office of Aksi Cepat Tanggap Mojokerto, Sunday (6/13/2021). These volunteers from various backgrounds, ranging from students, private workers to housewives.
“The main purpose of this orientation is to strengthen volunteerism and to bring forth more actions of kindness. Hence, the benefits can be felt by the wider community,” said the Branch Manager of ACT Mojokerto, Moch. Dian Baskoro.
During the orientation, the participants were introduced to ACT, MRI, and volunteerism so that they can be more active in volunteering to benefit the community.
“This is the second orientation training to be held. This activity is a preparation to further expand humanitarian movements and raise the awareness of the volunteers in the future," added Dian.
After the orientation, the MRI volunteers will continue to receive more training to improve their skills, including disaster mitigation, empowerment, and others.
