ACTNews, GAZA - The Great Return March protests
continue along the Gaza-Israel border. The Palestinians are still voicing the
demand for the return of their lands. The regular protests that have been held
for two years were often met with violence by Israeli forces, leading to
injuries and casualties.
Aksi Cepat Tanggap provides wheelchairs
for the wounded. New wheelchairs were given to 60 Gazans who were physically
disabled as a result of Israeli attacks. The wheelchair distribution took place
from June 1 to 3.
"The recipients of the new
wheelchairs were people who lost their legs due to the Great Return March protests
and those who have chronic illnesses," Said Mukkafiy of the Global Humanity
Response (GHR) - ACT said.
ACT also provides medical assistance for
the people of Gaza through the Indonesian clinic in Gaza. Thanks to the kindness
of the donors, thousands of people in Gaza can get medical treatments,
checkups, and free ambulance services. Every month, volunteers in Gaza provide
reports on the activities at the clinic and patient visits. "We hope that
we can continue assisting the people of Gaza," Said added. []
