ACTNews, JAKARTA – Global Wakaf-ACT through Productive Business Waqf (WUP) program provides business capital through various assets such as carts and mobile shops that have been modified to support the MSME owners. The provision of these business assets will also be adjusted according to the business types of each MSMEs.
“There are vegetable and bicycle carts to facilitate sellers who travel long distances. We also provide booths, motorbike carts, and three-wheeled motorbikes, and we are currently preparing to provide mobile shops," said WUP Program Coordinator, Novaly Rushan, Thursday (8/12/2021).
Meanwhile, Rushan admits that he is preparing waqf mobile shops to support MSMEs’ activities. The car will be used to display the MSME products as a marketing effort.
Apart from assets, to support MSME products, Global Wakaf also focuses on creating places for distribution or supply chains so that the selling price of MSME products can be stable.
“For example, if we control the supply chain, Insha Allah, the price of the product will be stable. Another example is seafood products. Without a good supply chain, the price of marine products can go down due to the quality. For example, without a cooler, the quality of the product will drop and cause the price to fall,” he said.
Rushan continues, if there are supply chains or warehouses, the output products can be maintained. It is feared that if MSMEs do not have adequate warehouses, in the field, the prices of goods may be destroyed and fall.
