Qurbani Benefits Orphans and Deprived Residents in West Seram

The joy of Eid ul-Adha came through Qurbani meat from the benefactors to the orphans and underprivileged residents of West Seram Regency, Maluku, in 2020.

ACTNews, WEST SERAM – The memories of Eid ul-Adha celebration in 2020 are still vivid for the residents of West Seram Regency, Maluku Province, where Global Qurban-ACT distributed Qurbani meat to underprivileged families and orphans there.

The Qurbani meat distribution in West Seram Regency targeted six hamlets including Tanah Merah, Talaga Nipa, and Masika Jaya Hamlets in Waisala Village, Huamual Belakang District, then Waiyoho Hamlet in Kawa Village, Nia City Hamlet in Eti Village, and Wael Hamlet in Piru Village.

Alhamdulillah, on behalf of Tanah Merah Hamlet residents, I thank Global Qurban-ACT for giving us Qurbani animals on this year’s Eid ul-Adha. We are truly happy,” said Samaun, the Head of Tanah Merah Hamlet at that time.

Eid ul-Adha in 2020 also became a special pride for Global Qurban-ACT for being the first organization that provided Qurbani in Tanah Merah Hamlet, West Seram Regency.

Branch Manager of Global Qurban-ACT Maluku, Wahab Loilatu explained that the distribution was not only carried out in West Seram Regency but also in Buru, South Buru, and Central Maluku Regencies, as well as Ambon City. “Alhamdulillah, the Qurbani meat distribution to impoverished families and orphans run smoothly. Hopefully, they can be happy on this Eid ul-Adha,” said Wahab, Monday (8/3/2020).[]
