ACTNews, SOUTH JAKARTA – Humanity Medical Services from Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) again held an action in West Cilandak Village, Cilandak District, South Jakarta, last Friday (22/10/2021).
The beneficiaries of this action were scavengers. “We are coming here to provide medical service for residents who cannot afford to go to the hospital. We believe many people in this village need medical services, especially scavengers,” explained Dr. Rassy, a Humanity Medical Services doctor.
Medical services provided were direct consultations with doctors and the provision of medicines. “If patients suffer from diabetes, gout, and cholesterol, they can be checked immediately, so that they are handled properly," added Dr. Rassy.

Local government officials, including Deputy Head of West Cilandak Noverra and West Cilandak Village Head Agus Gunawan attended this medical services action. Noverra also expressed her gratitude for this action.
“I am happy that ACT through Humanity Medical Services program has provided free treatment to our residents. I hope it doesn't stop here, but ACT expands to other areas in Cilandak. Many of our residents need this health service,” said Noverra.
Satiem, a beneficiary, also welcomed this activity positively. “I am grateful. The medical service here was good. The doctor explained it clearly. My condition was thoroughly checked. Even if the medicine runs out, I can call the service number. The medicine will be delivered and given to us for free. This medical assistance helps me a lot,” said Satiem after the examination.
