ACTNews, MATARAM – The Board of Trustees President of Yayasan Peduli Ummat Baitul Askhiya, TGH. Mujiburrahman handed over the donation from the residents of Sekarbela District, Mataram with a total number of IDR556 million to the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), Sunday (5/30/2021). The fund was directly handed over by the Branch Manager of ACT West Nusa Tenggara, Juaini Pratama in Ar-Ra’isiyah Mosque, Sekarbela. Later, the joint donation will be implemented into humanitarian aid in Palestine.

The collected funds are purely from Sekarbela residents. The fundraising process was only within a week. Although the fundraising time was short, the result was fantastic and it was also not the first time.

“We will continue these humanitarian actions to raise generosity, to provide an understanding to the public about the importance of Palestinian nation to the Islamic world. Hopefully, West Nusa Tenggara, especially Mataram, can be at the forefront to knock the hearts of the benefactors on the Thousand Mosques Island. Thank you Sekarbela residents for trusting the Yayasan Baitul Askhiya," said TGH Mujib.

TGH Mujib adds that the collected donations are hoped to speed the recovery process of Palestinian condition after the Israeli aggression. As TGH Mujib refers to a hadith that mentions Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement.

Meanwhile, the Branch Manager of ACT West Nusa Tenggara said that the humanitarian aid from Sekarbela residents and its surroundings collected through the Yayasan Peduli Ummat Baitul Askhiya was the third submitted donation for Palestine.

“I always get goosebumps and am touched by the generosity of Sekarbela people. They can raise a lot of funds in a short time for our brothers and sisters in need. The funds will be implemented by ACT to provide the best assistance for the Palestinians, especially in the Gaza area which has been blockaded for years, as mandated by TGH Mujiburrahan," said Juaini Pratama who also hopes that the generosity of Sekarbela residents could be an example for other people in different places.

Juaini added that in the future, the kindness collaboration that has been established with the Yayasan Baitul Askhiya will continuously produce new virtues. ACT also encourages all elements of society to take part in helping our suffering brothers and sisters including those who are in Palestine. The ACT West Nusa Tenggara continues to open the opportunity to collaborate and accommodate the people’s donations to be channeled to the rightful recipients.[]
