They marched
from the Galunggung Field until Al Fatah Mosque in Ambon City on Friday
(12/20). In addition to voicing support for the Uighur community, they also
raised IDR 36,614,000 which would later be channeled for the humanitarian
programs for the Uighurs.
ACT Maluku
Branch Manager Wahab Loilatu said that the donations collected will be given to
Uighur diaspora that live in a number of countries, such as Turkey. "This
is because the Uighur diaspora is generally very poor. The humanitarian
assistance is provided in the form of food, scholarships, and winter
assistance, "Wahab explained.

experienced by the Uighurs moves our hearts to take action to raise funds with
ACT," Habibi said.
