ACTNews, PADANG PARIAMAN – The Sabai Nan Aluih Nursing Home in Sicincin, Padang Pariaman, has become a place of residence for the elderly in the area. They stay there for various reasons and come from various family backgrounds.

Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) together with Respon Radio as well as the Regional Secretariat of Padang Pariaman Regency held a Free Food Operation for the residents of the Sabai Nan Aluih Nursing Home in the third week of September.  This food distribution was well received.

“This food distribution was a continuation of the Free Food Operations that ACT have held as part of handling the impact of the pandemic on various elements of society including the elderly who live in nursing homes.  We didn't just give food, our presence there also comforted the elderly who felt a bit lonely because they are far from their families," said ACT West Sumatra Branch Manager Aan Saputra.

Previously, a meal distribution through Free Meal Operation had been held for the residents of the Sabai Nan Aluih Nursing Home. This event was met with a good response from the elderly and the surrounding residents.[]
