
ACTNews, BOGOR REGENCY - Residents in Kampung Cisalada,
Hamlet 3, Purwabakti Village, Pamijahan Subdistrict, Bogor Regency, chose to
spend the night outside their homes after a magnitude 5.0 earthquake shook Sukabumi
at 5:18 p.m. Western Indonesia Standard Time, Tuesday (3/10). Around 134 houses
were damaged in Kampung Cisalada.

Indonesia (MRI) - ACT Bogor reported, until 2:00 a.m. the next day, residents
of Kampung Cisalada had deserted their homes. "Based on our assessment,
until midnight, 20 houses suffer from heavy damages, 112 were slightly damaged,
and two suffer from moderate damage. In addition, three small mosques were
badly damaged, and a school was slightly damaged," Nasir reported. The
data was obtained by the Bogor MRI Team from 6 Neighborhood Associations (RT)
and 2 Community Associations (RW) inhabited by 465 inhabitants. Nasir said, the
residents needed prepared meals, medicine, and sleeping mats.
In Jayanegara Hamlet, Kabandungan Village,
Kabandungan Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency, until 2:00 a.m., the electricity was
still out in the village. Siti Maryam reported, a total of 101 people evacuated
to a post located in a tea factory. "We saw infants and toddlers. They
need emergency aid like meal packages, drinking water, baby food and baby
diapers," Maryam reported.

conducting an assessment. Residents whose houses were not damaged had returned
home. "Furthermore, the team will find humanitarian posts in Bogor and
Sukabumi for food distribution," said Daryadi.
The magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred on Tuesday
(3/10) afternoon, with the epicenter located 13 kilometers northeast of
Sukabumi Regency. The earthquake was felt strongly in Bogor and Sukabumi
Regencies. A number of areas were affected including Cikidang, Ciambar, Cidahu,
Kelapa Nunggal at the intensity level IV to V of the MMI scale, and
Panggarangan, Bayah, and Citeko at the intensity level II to III, []
