ACTNews, WEST KALIMANTAN - Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) West Kalimantan and Assosiasi Outlet Kalimantan Barat and Komunitas Niaga Seluler Indonesia distributed thousands of aid packages to flood victims in Sintang Regency on Wednesday (11/10/2021) in an effort to fulfill the flood survivors’ basic needs.
This aid packages were distributed to three different locations namely Kampung Ladang Village, Sungai Putih Village, and Sungai Rambai Village in Kapuas Kanan Hulu District, Sintang Regency.
Nircho Dwi Anggoro from Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) West Kalimantan Program Department said that the floods have not subsided for almost 20 days due to continuous rainfall and overflowing rivers.
"Alhamdulillah, the team has distributed a number of basic aid packages including two tons of rice, hundreds of food packages, hundreds of gallons of drinking water, dozens of boxes of meal packages, and clothing," he said, Wednesday (11/10/202).
Nircho thanked all Generous Friends for their contributions and support for the initiative.
"Insha Allah, the little we spend will be very meaningful to the beneficiaries," he concluded.
