REGENCY – PT United Family Food (Unifam) handed over donations worth IDR 2
billion to Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT). The handover ceremony was held at the Waqf
Distribution Center, in Curug Village, Gunung Sindur District, Bogor Regency,
Wednesday (9/1/2021).
Through the
handover of 10,000 boxes of jelly, Unifam hoped to contribute to providing
healthy snacks for the community during the pandemic, as stated by Unifam's
Senior Advisor Maria Theodora Kurniawati.
“We know that
during this pandemic, most access to healthy snacks is not easy, so we
encourage people to enjoy our products because our products contain nutrients. Hopefully,
it can help the growth and development of children in our country of Indonesia,"
explained Maria.
To celebrate the
company's 40th anniversary, Unifam wants to do more for the community at large.
They partnered with ACT to help expand the benefits of this assistance.
“Our hope is that
this will not be a one-time collaboration but a long-term synergy. We can see
what ACT is doing and what we want to do. Most of our corporate social
responsibility (CSR) is by encouraging our healthy products to be enjoyed by
more people. We hope that the program can cover all areas of Indonesia,"
said Maria.
Muhammad Basair as
ACT Jakarta, Tangerang, and Banten Regional Head stated that ACT will later distribute
this assistance through various humanitarian programs, especially the
Indonesian Child Nutrition Operation.
Basair also hoped
that what Unifam had done could encourage other parties to help those in need.
"Hopefully, it can inspire goodness to the whole community, and
stakeholders," he said. []
