ACTNews, TASIKMALAYA – Uti (83) was much happier compared to when ACT Tasikmalaya first met her in 2019. The woman living in Banyurasa Village, Sukahening District, Tasikmalaya Regency was waiting for her new home to finish. Previously, Uti and one of her grandchildren who had been ill for years lived in an old, decrepit house. Its walls would have collapsed, and its roofs were leaking. "I have been living there for quite a long time, around 80 years more or less. As you can see, it was decrepit, "said Uti.
ACT Tasikmalaya Program Team Coordinator Muhammad Fauzi Ridwan said that the renovation of Uti’s house is targeted to finish quickly so that Uti and her grandchild can live there as soon as possible. "Alhamdulillah, the construction has been going on for nine days, and Insha Allah it will be completed soon because Grandma Uti also has a sick grandchild," explained Fauzi, Wednesday (5/13).
Uti is very thankful for the renovation of her house. Her mouth repeatedly uttered her thanks to ACT Tasikmalaya team as she was overwhelmed with happiness. "Alhamdulillah, thank you. May Allah reward you with immense goodness. I thank Allah the Most Holy. Insha Allah, I will live in a decent house soon," she said, trying to hold her emotions.
