ACTNews, NORTH JAKARTA – Humanitarian problems continue to occur, and some have yet to find a solution. To deal with this, Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) North Jakarta again held a Volunteer Orientation for the 8th Batch at ACT North Jakarta Office, Sunday (11/21/2021).

Muhammad Albar, Head of Volunteer Regional Jakarta and a speaker at the event, says that humanitarian issues exist among the lower classes. Hence, volunteers will interact a lot with the community to provide solutions to these problems.

“When people complain, MRI friends can immediately respond. Therefore, it is easier and quickly provides solutions to people who need help,” said Albar.

Harun Ar rosyid, Head of North Jakarta MRI Volunteers, explained that the purpose of MRI North Jakarta Volunteer Orientation was to provide volunteers with an understanding of volunteerism, including the vision, mission, and coordination flow. Later, there is good harmonization when carrying out humanitarian actions anywhere, especially in the North Jakarta area.

Alhamdulillah, today's event was a success. Hopefully, as the number of MRI North Jakarta increases, the volunteers can be more professional and wise in taking a stand when they are in action," Harun said.

In this orientation, 36 new volunteers participated. This year, MRI Jakarta regional is targeting 5,000 volunteers.[]
