Volunteers Together Clean Beach to Commemorate Sumpah Pemuda

ACTNews, SUKABUMI REGENCY -- To commemorate Sumpah Pemuda (Youth Pledge) Day, volunteers from Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) Sukabumi Regency carried out a 'Beach Clean Up' activity at Pelabuhan Ratu beach, on Thursday (10/28/2021). This activity aimed to raise the spirit of the youth to be more aware of maintaining a clean environment.

“Today's activity is right on Sumpah Pemuda Day. Alhamdulillah, the activities went smoothly and according to plan," said Head of MRI of Sukabumi Regency, Siti Mariam, when contacted on Thursday (10/28/2021).

About 40 volunteers attended the activity. Apart from MRI volunteers, many volunteers, activists, and youth from various environmental organizations were also involved in contributing their energy and thoughts.
