ACTNews, BOGOR REGENCY – Sometimes, Husen can't carry his merchandise anymore. At the age of 68 years, he peddles his sales every day, from morning to evening, with a distance of about 15 kilometers. On his shoulders, he carries and sells a variety of drinks. Every time he came home from trading, he felt pain in the shoulder.

“Apart from selling, I also work odd jobs to earn additional income,” said Husen, Friday (10/15/2021).

Husen continues to work hard because he has to meet the needs of his wife and in-laws, who live with him. He lives in Bojong Rangkas Village, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency.

One of Husen's children works as a construction worker, while the other is a single mother of two children who are still in school. Husen also helps their needs. His carrying pole is rickety and shabby. He repeatedly patched it with old tires.

Global Wakaf-ACT West Bogor tried to ease Husen's hard work by giving him a Waqf Cart through Waqf for Productive Enterprises program. He was happy and grateful. With this Waqf Cart from Generous Friends, he can be more efficient in trading.

“Many thanks to Global Wakaf-ACT for the cart. I plan to use this cart to trade drinks in the morning and sell fritter at night in front of the road. Hence, I can increase my income for my grandchildren. I will take care of this cart. Thank you for helping me. I hope Allah will repay you with kindness, "said Husen. []
