Waqf Drinking Water Supports Vaccination in East Jakarta

Waqf Drinking Water has accompanied hundreds of residents in Cibubur and Ciracas, East Jakarta during vaccination activities. Apart from succeeding the Covid-19 vaccination, Waqf Drinking Water distribution aims to introduce waqf programs to the public.

ACTNews, JAKARTAWaqf Drinking Water from Global Wakaf-ACT was present to accompany hundreds of people in the queue waiting for the Covid-19 vaccination at the Al-Azhar Islamic Elementary School Hall, Cibubur, East Jakarta. Vaccination is carried out for three consecutive days, starting from Tuesday (6/22/2021).

First Police Inspector Adjutant (Aiptu) Sri Yanto as Unit Officer (Panit) of Binmas Ciracas Police Sector (Polsek) explained that the residents required drinking water while waiting their turn. “Fear and tension during vaccination make it easy for people to feel thirsty. Alhamdulillah, ACT’s fresh Waqf Drinking Water is present for our residents. Thanks to Global Wakaf-ACT," said Aiptu Sri.

The Cibubur and Ciracas regions are indeed intensifying the vaccination implementations. Therefore, he appreciates the support given by various parties to the success of vaccination activity.

Wuryanto from Global Wakaf-ACT East Jakarta Team explained that previously, Global Wakaf-ACT also had distributed Waqf Drinking Water at Polsek Ciracas to support vaccination activity for the elderly. The distribution at Polsek Ciracas was carried out on Monday (6/7/2021).
