ACTNews, SIDOARJO – Pasri (47)'s wish to add snacks into her business has finally come true. Global Wakaf-ACT Sidoarjo provided assistance through Waqf for the MSMEs program.
It has been three years since Pasri has been in the meatball and coconut ice business. She lives in Grabagan Village, Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. She does this business to add her husband's income as a vegetable seller. Hence, they can meet the daily needs of their three children.
Lately, the business has been hampered by the pandemic and making it difficult for Pasri to earn an income as usual. In one day, she estimates that, on average, she earned a gross income of IDR 100,000. “Sometimes, I have many customers. Alhamdulillah, I am always grateful. This business is the only way to make money,” said Pasri, Friday (10/8/2021).
Pasri’s husband also experiences difficulty in trading. Their two children are still in elementary school and need more money. Therefore, they try to work harder. They had run out of capital to sell.
Through business capital assistance and mentoring from Global Wakaf-ACT Sidoarjo, Pasri hopes that her business can develop further from now on. “I would like to thank Global Wakaf-ACT for the business capital assistance. Insha Allah, I will also sell fritters. Please, pray my fritters to sell well,” said Pasri.
