ACTNews, PASURUAN REGENCY – Global Wakaf-ACT, in collaboration with Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI), distributed dozens of Quran copies to pupils at Saifun Najah Islamic Elementary School in Pasrepan, Pasuruan Regency, as a show of care for educational growth. The distribution, which took place on Thursday (2/24/2022), benefited approximately fifty students.
Muhammad Al Amin Sholeh, the program implementer for Global Wakaf-ACT Pasuruan, described it as one of their flagship programs in education. In the Pasuruan area, many Islamic institutions and prayer rooms lack a decent Quran.
"It will continue in the future, Insha Allah, not just in schools, but also in Quran learning centers and Islamic boarding schools. As we all know, the Quran is in short supply in remote locations. Hopefully, this program will assist our brothers and sisters who require the Quran copies," he stated.
Ucik Nurul Hidayah, a teacher at MI Saifun Najah, responded positively, expressing her thanks for the attention and help she received. Ucik also confesses that her school's Quran facilities are still lacking.
"Alhamdulillah, we appreciate Global Wakaf-ACT's interest in our school. Insha Allah, this Quran assistance will lead us to Allah's paradise, particularly for the donors who have entrusted their waqf," Ucik remarked.
