ACTNews, JAKARTA Eid ul-Adha is one of the most awaited days by Muslims around the world, especially if they can perform Qurbani. Apart from carrying out the commands of Allah, Qurbani also aims to strengthen ukhuwah Islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood) among Muslims everywhere.

Not wanting to miss out on the benefits spreading on Eid ul-Adha, Kajian Musawarah takes part in Qurbani with Global Qurban-ACT. Kajian Musawarah is an Islamic assembly initiated by Indonesian public figures including actor Teuku Wisnu.

Alhamdulillah, this is the third year for Kajian Musawarah to synergize with Global Qurban-ACT. Qurbani Without Limits makes Qurbani have no barriers and boundaries. This collaboration is the greatness of Qurbani, which is not about how many Qurbani animals we offer, but how much benefit we can give to others," said Wisnu in the broadcast of "Ngobrol Bareng Teuku Wisnu" on ACT TV, Wednesday (7/14/2021).

According to Wisnu, Eid ul-Adha is a day of victory for Muslims around the world, including people in various parts of Indonesia and people in countries with humanitarian crises who don't enjoy qurbani meat frequently.

“Imagine, in Indonesia, we can eat delicious Qurbani meat, but our brothers and sisters in Palestine barely eat meat or drink clean water. Our brothers and sisters in Yemen are also starving. They are so skinny, their bones are bulging due to severe hunger," added Wishnu.

Wisnu says that the synergy between Kajian Musawarah and Global Qurban-ACT will have a thorough impact through the distribution of Qurbani meat in a good and equitable manner. He invites the community to take part in performing Qurbani on this year’s Eid ul-Adha.

“Let’s bring the happiness of Eid ul-Adha to our fellow Muslims and countrymen. Insha Allah, through Qurbani, Allah will ease our business,” concluded Wisnu.[]
