ACTNews, YOGYAKARTA – Last weekend, the free meal vehicle called Humanity Mobile Food Services that is produced from the collaboration between Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) and Wong Solo Peduli visited Jogokariyan Mosque, Mantrijeron, Yogyakarta. The truck in which the container box was modified carried out its action for three days. A total of 2,000 meal packages were distributed to the congregants.
In addition to Humanity Mobile Food Services, ACT also carried out a workshop in the hall of Jogokariyan Mosque at the second floor of the mosque. The event that was themed “National Training for Mosque-Based Economic Empowerment & Election during the Pandemic Period” was also attended by ACT’s Chief of Advisory Board Ahyudin as well as the other speakers.
Branch Manager of ACT Yogyakarta, Nur Aries Shoim said that Humanity Mobile Food Services started its distribution from Friday (10/29/2021) until Sunday (10/31/2021). The action was proof of generosity that is continuously being optimized despite the ongoing pandemic.
“Alhamdulillah, activities at Jogokariyan Mosque ran smoothly. We ask for your prayer so that the action can be expanded,” said Aries.
Meanwhile, Puspo Wardoyo as the Head of Wong Solo Group explained that his party doesn’t only provide free meal service from the humanitarian vehicle but also business capital waqf for a thousand MSME owners.
“The assistance will be given in a form of business capital, selling cart, and Makanku products from Wong Solo Group,” said Puspo.
